The Arizona Attorney General's Office is prosecuting the latest case that is related to the Sober Living Crisis and the scandal involving Arizona's Medicaid agency, AHCCCS. FOX 10 Investigator Justin Lum sat down with AG Mayes, two years since the state finally began to crack down on the problem.

AZ people, businesses accused of Medicaid fraud

Over 20 people and businesses are accused of defrauding Arizona's Medicaid program to the tune of $60 million. According to the indictments, the defendants, along with Happy House Behavioral Health and Hope of Life International Church, billed for mental health and addiction treatment that was rarely provided.
